INFORMATION DESIGN
This collection highlights my illustrative work across various freelance projects and collaborations with local organizations. Taking a hands-on approach, I guided the visual strategy—from initial mood boards to final execution—tailoring my illustration style to authentically reflect each organization's unique message and audience.
Data Visualization
For this information design project, I was tasked with visually mapping out eight distinct characteristics of my personal pen collection. By integrating bar charts, line graphs, and a custom symbolic coding system, I simplified complex data into an easily digestible format. The primary goal was to draw readers in with an engaging layout and vibrant color palette while ensuring the core information remained logical.
MOCHI'S GARRET
For this youth-oriented project, I designed YouTube thumbnails and social media banners for a podcast series exploring literature, history, and art. I proposed and executed an adorable, colorful, and approachable visual style to resonate directly with their young female demographic, ensuring all event materials felt cohesive and inviting.
Dream building journal
Serving as both a content contributor and visual strategist, I developed this journal to guide students through the study abroad application process. I established a bright, youth-oriented visual identity and crafted playful illustrations that made topics like essay writing and personal experiences feel inspiring rather than intimidating.
The Journal of summer
In collaboration with a project team, I helped develop this journey booklet to visually summarize a local community campaign. My role focused on translating written content into engaging editorial layouts, establishing the foundational color palettes, and creating the primary illustrations to guide the reader's experience.
Multilingual Medical Handbook
Designed to make essential COVID-19 health information accessible, this booklet uses friendly, approachable illustrations to communicate with the community. I planned the overall content flow and visualized complex medical facts into engaging graphics, even incorporating interactive games to keep readers entertained while learning.
PNA E-book Covers
Targeting a highly academic audience, this project showcases my ongoing design process for an educational SAT book brand. The current stage features a collection of cover sketches and iterative drafts, exploring various visual directions to best meet the client's specific requirements. It highlights my adaptability and collaborative approach to translating academic content into compelling cover art.
Illustration Archival
This section is a personal archive of vector illustrations born from my cultural observations, random thoughts, and notes of self-encouragement. Created primarily in Adobe Illustrator, these pieces serve as an ongoing visual diary where I freely explore storytelling, color, and form outside of standard project constraints.
